In addition, we offer the following goodwill hurricane policy—applicable to the hotel portion of your stay—should a hurricane watch be issued for Barbados (48 hours in advance of a possible hurricane).
If you’re already at the hotel
- Choose to depart early: We’ll issue a hotel credit for the number of nights interrupted. This credit is valid for travel June 15 – December 15. (No cash credits are issued.)
- Forced to extend due to storm-related flight delays: We will continue to offer the nightly rate on which you are booked for each extended night, payable in full upon departure.
If you haven’t arrived yet (storm impacts your travel)
If you’re unable to arrive due to flight cancellation, hotel closure, or storm-related flight delays, you have options:
Arrive within 30 days after the storm
- Come for the same number of nights with no increase in the nightly rate. We’ll make every effort to confirm your requested dates and original room category.
- Or stay fewer nights and receive a hotel credit for the remaining nights, valid for travel June 15 – December 15 (subject to availability).
Postpone for more than 30 days after the storm
- Receive full credit for the hotel portion of your holiday for travel June 15 – December 15.
- We will guarantee the original rate (and category, if available) for travel within June 15 – December 15.
If the hotel requires rescheduling
- We may, at our discretion, require all arriving guests to reschedule until after the storm. If so, a full (hotel-only) credit will be authorized for travel June 15 – December 15, and we will guarantee the original rate (and category, if available).
If you choose to arrive despite an advisory to the contrary
- You acknowledge that no compensation will be provided for any disruption of services and/or inclusions resulting from the storm.
